Dear students, welcome to this module "ENT2345: Human Resources Management."
Brief description
This module will let you be able to discover the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential to the practices of human resource management. The curriculum leads you through the roles and responsibilities of human resource personnel. Based on the “real-life” process of employment, you will learn how to assess the employment needs of the organisation, to formulate job descriptions and job specifications, and to manage job evaluations. Leading on from organisational needs, you will explore the recruitment process, as well as the responsibility of developing, motivating and evaluating employees.
Organisation culture is in a constant state of flux. In this module, you will discover the value of being a “lifelong learner” – someone with a mindset that seeks to stay up to date with the latest developments in their field. In human resource management this would include staying up-to-date on current thinking in both organisation management and engaging with employees.
The module is delivered through blended learning (online and face to face) and it is divided into eight units.
