The paper called How to write a scientific Manuscript for Publication by Giarnacarlo Maria et al, explains that the origin of development of scientific and technical press was in about the years of 1665 and that the first papers were not respecting the standards for quality and validity.

I was surprised to read that about 300 years ago - Scientific papers started to meet the requirements for quality together with the involvement of peer reviewers.

They reported that possible reasons why people do not publish may be lack of time for research, having research still underway, problems with co-authors, and negative results. This paper elaborates a bit on topics like authorship, target journal, ethical issues, systematic review. It explains that the conclusion of a paper has to be concise, clear enough for the person to get the message as a take home message. Among others it has to highlight the need for future research is applicable, The author needs to prevent repetitions and avoid excessive generalization. It is important to publish because of personal satisfaction, recognition, informing policy makers and getting promotion on the side of the researcher.

The paper E. Robert Schulman et al with a title: How to write a scientific Paper highlights that a scientific paper is more important but poorly understood and that it allows scientists to get money from the government or the company they work for or universities. Sometimes it is not well understood because it is badly written.

The author says that the most important thing in scientific research is not the discoveries, but the grant which has to be won. The researcher needs to explain how the results will reveal something very fundamental.

It was surprising that on the side of Universities and companies with an applicant who received a grant that about 30 to 70% will automatically be retained by the organization for logistics purposes.

On Scientific Publication, Publication marks the end of the work on a research project - it is done when everything has been done by submitting to a journal and requesting for the publications - Peer reviewers are chosen to go through what has been done by the author. The author states that every scientific paper has serious errors if they are not caught by the team of reviewers and you recognize them, you do errata and explain how you messed up and how your results are or are not still standing. In Conclusion, they explain how it is very simple and refers to just changing the present tense in the abstract and making it past. If possible an author has to choose a theory even if it is not always necessary to refer to it or align it with your results. The importance for publishing here helps as well as a process for learning on the side of the author, especially when things were found to have been messed up.

Recognition and appreciation are also important.  Supporting the general public with a peer reviewed information that will be utilised for the benefits of the public is a gain as well.

Lundberg GD in a paper on How to write a medical paper and get it published in a good journal - on the audio attached, it is stated that you start because you want to finish, it is not important to do a research if you will not publish - it highlights the publication as an ending point of research paper and giving a filling to accomplishment when you have your work already published. They added that writing is really a hard task but if you want to write what do you wanna write? It is important to publish because it will allow you to communicate and make sure some people have seen or read what you did.

Thank You
