paper 1: Wrritten by Mathilde Johansen and Simon Francis Thousen on March 2026

They provided a response to the low quality of reporting of medical research, guidelines for the several different types of study, design that has been developed to secure accurate reporting and transparency for reviewers and readers from the scientific community. They reviewed and discussed on the six most widely accepted and used guidelineswhich are:

1. PRISMA

2. CONSORT

3.STROBE

4.MOOSE

5.STARD

6.SPIRIT

They conclude that the implementation of these six guidelines has led to moderate improvement in the quality of the reporting of medical research. And they recommended that is time for editors, authors, and reviewers to assemble and figure out how to best use the various reporting guidelines.

The second paper is about how to write a medical paper to get it published in a good journal: the author asked the important questions: Is the manuscript original, important, interesting;are the data valid; are the conclusions justified by the data? Is the writing clear, and what is the priority and timing?is it new/ Is it true?

The third paper is about how to write a scientific paper. the author wrote that most papers are not well written especially the introductions which should introduce the reader to the subject so that the paper will be comprehensible even if the reader did not do any work in the field.

Also, he talked about that we should be aware of serious errors, thus you will be asked to write an erratum to the paper explaining; how and why you messed up and that even though your experimental results are now totally different, your conclusions needn't be changed.

The conclusion section is easy to write. What you have to is to take the abstract and change thetense from the present to the past.
