    Unit 2 focuses on key pedagogical concepts essential for effective teaching and learning. They include , among others the concept of education, teaching and learning, pedagogy and andragogy, didactics (didactic triangle, didactic contract, didactic transportation), transfer of learning, pupil’s representations, socio-cognitive conflicts and meta-cognition

    Learning outcomes:

    By the end of this unit, you should be able to:

    •Explain key pedagogical concepts as applied in the teaching and learning process
    •Apply key pedagogical concepts, in diverse teaching and learning situations to enhance student engagement and achievement.
