Foundations and Applications of Nursing Management

The purpose of this course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of management roles and responsibilities in nursing practice which will enable students to effectively use human, material and financial resources in the healthcare system. It will also explore workforce planning, organizing, coordination, budgeting, mentorship, coaching, motivation, performance appraisal, using current technology, conflict and stress management.
