The introduction shared in the course material to be analyzed according to the 6 components of a good introduction, for the first part of description of the topic, I can see the author tried to include that by playing around showing how the current education status is in Rwanda as far as health professionals are concerned. They talked a bit on the poor equipment available and how there are less mentors, less clinical instructors.
The author has included information on the summary of existing knowledge by highlighting the some figures of the Rwanda population by 2011 which was 11 million people and the ratio of health professionals to the population which was 0.72 per a thousand of the population while the World Health Organization recommends at least 2.3 per 1,000. They described what has been done by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education jointly to bridge the gap and try to tackle the problem.
Unfortunately, the author did not include any information about the purpose of the study and its description (Component 3 and 4 are missing).
The context is a bit touched on by comparing Rwanda and Maryland, showing how it is considered among the dense countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and how it needs a strong and capable healthcare workforce.
The author tried to elaborate that if these fellow health professionals are well trained this could lead to improving health outcomes and hence in a long time vision reduce mortality and morbidity which is the impact. And I think this is the impact for the activity of training more Health Professionals and can be the impact of the study as well.
