  1. Serological survey of toxoplasmosis in four rural communities in southern Africa"

ü  This is bad title because , when we look at the criteria for good Title, including Tpye od study, Outcome, Participant, Interventions and Comparison, here there is no Type of study, no participant, no Comparison and it comprise the word survey

2. We should stop using ampicillin and cotrimoxazole to treat shigellosis."

ü  This is Bad Title because it sounds to be notice/statement rather than being a title; it doesn’t also have a type of study, no comparison, no participant.

3. Rapid emergence of in-vitro resistance to ampicillin and cotrimoxazole in Shigella dysenteries typed from Musanze."

ü  This is a bad Title  because, it seems to be too precise/ specific and it has mentioned Musanze/ Geographical location which not recommended in criteria of Good Title, again there are no participants, no type of study.

4. Risk factors for typhoid in children in remote areas of  Vietnam"

ü  This is seems to be Good Title because most of criteria of good Title are all fulfilled, but it doesn’t have type of study

5. Report of an investigation into poor hygiene behavior as  a reason for the acquisition of typhoid fever by some ethnic minority children in Vietnam"

  • It is a bad Title,  Because, it comprises 26 words which are exceeding the required ones (between 10-20 words), Again it has the specificity as it mentioned  some ethnic minority Children” which is not recommended in real Title.
