BI80364: Animal Physiology

This module of Animal Physiology is designed for the second-year biology students in the Conservation Biology and Biotechnology programs at the Department of Biology, College of Science and Technology, University of Rwanda. This module aims to equip the students with both knowledge and understanding of animal tissues, organs, apparatus/systems, and their functions. Students will be exposed to different literature (theories) on the anatomy and functioning of animal systems and conduct laboratory practices for a better understanding of the concepts learnt in class. By the end of the module, students are expected to be able to conduct an independent literature search on an assigned animal physiology-related topic, summarize it, and present a formal PPT presentation to the audience and answer questions.
