Introduction to Literary Genres is the first module in the study of literature in English, which introduces you to the various literary genres and their forms or types. As it may be the first time for (some, if not most of) you to study literature, the module has been designed to help you to study literature on your own. Its aim is to help you acquire knowledge and skills in reading and analysing literary books/texts of different categories so as to enable you understand the different literary genres and their specific or distinguishing features
