CHM6166 Research Methodology
Semester I
Summary
Research methodology is a module of 20 credits. Its aim is to give sufficient concepts and methods of research that includes the formulation of a research topic, defining the research question and hypothesis, techniques of sampling/data collection, analysis and processing as well as presentation and discussion of results. This module also gives opportunity of conceiving, designing and developing a Master research proposal which indicates the background of the given topic, detailed methodology, budget, timeline and so on. This proposal must be accepted by a panel of chemists before being implemented.
