ITE1161. IT ESSENTIALS I

The module provides the fundamentals of computer hardware and software. The Introduction of Computer Systems, Computer Assembly, Preventing Maintenance and Troubleshooting, advanced concepts are given to train students to become IT professionals.

Students will be able to analyze the Internal and External components of the Computer Systems, understand the purpose of safe working conditions and safe Lab procedures, to build a computer, to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on personal computers and install a Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
