Introduction to One Health (Human-Animal-Environmental Health Interface)

‘One Health’ represents a theory that trans-disciplinary and multi-sectoral strategies applied towards complex systems can effect healthier human, animal and ecosystem populations. The challenges faced in addressing emerging infectious diseases are more than one discipline or sector (i.e.government, academic and private) can solve alone. One Health is a process that can help bring the different disciplines and sectors together.
