BL80255: Introduction to Microbiology

This module provides the basic concepts of medical microbiology, such as the structure, function and morphology of bacteria, relationship between microbes and environment, classification, nutrition and reproduction. It also covers the normal flora, infection, disease and propagation,  body defences against microbial invasion and basic laboratory techniques.
