FLM2173: Principles of Forestry

The module of Basics of Forestry consists of Four components. Each component will be separately taught by a lecturer and assessed on the basis of the agreement between students and lecturers. Each course component will be examined through Quizzes, Assignments (individual or in groups), CATs (Continous Assessment Test) and Final trimester exam.

The components include:

1. Introduction to Biodiversity conservation by Mr. Mapendo MINDJE (m.mapendo@ur.ac.rw) and he is the Module leader

2.  Introduction to Agroforestry by Mr. Yannick Kalimba  (ykarimba@gmail.com)

3. Principles of Forestry by Nyirumuringa Emmanuel (enyirumuringa@gmail.com)

4. Dendrology by Mr. Senyanzobe Jean Marie Vianney (nzobe2000@yahoo.fr)
