ED80142:Parents and Community Involvement in ECD/ECE

This module explains that an Early Childhood Teacher and/or Caregiver, has to establish rapport with other people who are involved in the activities of childcare at home in families. This module therefore explains why the caregiver/teacher needs the involvement and the support of these other people and how he/she can work towards the objective and methods by which to ensure their support and participation in Early Childhood Care and Development. It equips student-teachers with understanding and skills to engage parents and community in the learning of their young children.
