This module seeks to provide a complete understanding of healthcare systems by investigating the impact of scale, location, ownership, and control on healthcare delivery and results. Through a comparative investigation of national, regional, and international health systems, students will identify major factors influencing healthcare management and outcomes. The program will also cover health policy creation, implementation, and assessment, with a focus on the impact on population health and healthcare access. Special emphasis will be placed on reducing inequalities in healthcare access and outcomes by investigating the socioeconomic determinants of health and enhancing health system equality of access across varied healthcare settings.
