SNE1242: Educational Need of Learners with Disabilities

This module aims at equipping students with knowledge, skills and attitudes about concepts, contexts, and categories of special learning needs. The module will enable students to be creative, help appropriately learners with special education needs by emphasizing identification and assessment of learning needs. The module will empower students with alternative learning and teaching strategies to face challenges caused by learners with disabilities and special learning needs. They will also be able to identify communication needs of learners with special educational needs, e.g Braille, Tactile, and Sign Language in the teaching processes.
