Physics and chemistry of Anesthesia Practice

This course provides the nurse anesthesia student with a fundamental understanding of chemical, biochemical and physics principles as they relate to physiology, pharmacology and the practice of anesthesia. Essential concepts related to chemistry and physics principles necessary to provide safe and effective anesthesia care are emphasized. Principles of electricity and fire safety in operating rooms are also emphasized.
