CD60142: Educational Foundations

This module examines major philosophical schools, African philosophy, and key thinkers, linking their ideas to teaching and learning activities; psychological foundations such as how learners grow, think, and behave, motivation, individual differences, and mental health and their implication in the classroom. Sociological perspectives: education’s role in society, cultural diversity, and social change. Contemporary issues are integrated throughout to connect theory with current educational practice.
