ENE3263_Transmission and Distribution of Energy

The aim of the course is to make the student familiar with the production, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy in regard to the needs of specific consumer areas in order to be able to appreciate the relative procedures from the technical, economic and social point of view. The acquisition of knowledge during the period of studies should make the student and future graduate able to understand the specialized knowledge concerning any aspect of production procedures and thus to work efficiently in relative positions. The module covers analysis, design, integration, production, testing, and operation of modern high technology systems.
