NEONATAL ADVANCED HEALTH ASSESSMENT

This module gives students the opportunity to develop their advanced neonatal health assessment skills focusing on effective methods of data collection including accurate use of instruments and using a systematic approach to physical examination.  Upon commencement of the module all MScN Neonatal track students will be able to perform a comprehensive physical exam, obtain a thorough history and physical findings and be able to identify disease entity and appropriate treatment for common neonatal conditions.
