Music Theory

The aim of this module is to orient students through the fundamental key areas of music theory and harmony which will enable them to improve their performance, aural and analytical skills in music. Hence, the content of this module will touch on aspects of melody, harmony, texture, form and musical analysis. It will also include an aural section of sight-singing, melodic and harmonic dictation, and listening examples.
