QUALITY ASSURANCE

At the end of the course the 3^rd year student will be able to participate in quality improvement projects of care and services offered to the client/patient.

 Specific objectives

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

ü  Define the key concepts,

ü  Explain the quality dimensions,

ü  Describe the stages of quality improvement process,

ü  Describe the types of measurements of quality care and services

ü  Illustrate with concrete examples 4 basic principles of quality assurance.

ü  Select an appropriate tool relevant to a stage of quality process.

ü  Use an appropriate approach to the improvement of quality care and services according to the identified problem.
