This course entails a study of the economic literature on human
development specifically designed to accommodate non-economists as well.
The course is designed for students with an interest in the
contemporary pluralist debates on economic issues within the field of
development studies. The course aims to build knowledge of the issues,
theories and analytical tools in order to undertake research and engage
in human development debates from an economic perspective.
