  • Introduction

    Unit 4 examines various approaches to learning, including surface, deep and strategic approaces, and explores key teaching principles including among others motivation, activity, concretisation, progression, individualisation, co-operation and transfer. It covers different teaching l methods such as lecturing, inquiry-based learning, and cooperative learning, as well as specific teaching techniques like grou work, scaffolding, etc. By understanding and applying these approaches, principles, methods, and techniques,  you can create effective and engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.

    •Differentiate the approaches to learning adopted by students, the teaching and learning principles, as well as teaching and learning methods and strategies to support inclusive education.
    •Apply principles, methods and strategies of teaching and learning while teaching to creating an effective and dynamic learning environment.

      Welcome to the quiz of unit 4 on approaches to learning, principles, methods and techniques of teaching and learning! Please read the following instructions carefully before you begin:

      6. Feedback: You will receive  feedback on your performance once the quiz is closed. Review the feedback to understand your strengths and areas for improvement., If you are not satisfied with your grades, read the materials again then repeat the quiz.

      7. Academic Integrity: Please complete the quiz independently. Do not use any external resources or collaborate with others. Academic honesty is expected and valued.
