  • This session will introduce students to the concepts of  health system's building blocks and Universal Health Coverage (UHC). We will go over the functions of a health system and how they contribute to UHC.

    Learning outcomes: At the end of this session, students will be able to:

    1. Describe the functions of a health system
    2. Define the health financing function
    3. Explain the concept of Universal Health Coverage
    4. Discuss how UHC can be assessed
