  • Aims of this Topic

    This unit aims at equipping students with production and operations concepts. It distinguishes the production of goods and the delivery of services concepts. It also gives insight in the role of production and operations management.

    Learning outcomes

    At the completion of this topic, Students should be able to:

    • Define production and operations management
    • Illustrate input-output relationship
    • Explain  issues faced by operations managers today
    • Provide Ethical issues in operations
