Introduction

This unit focuses on the craft of creation: how to produce instructional materials, documents, presentations, videos, interactive content, and learning activities that are accessible, engaging, and effective for all learners from the outset.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

LO1	Apply accessible document design principles to create inclusive written materials including course guides, assignment briefs, lecture notes, and reading lists.
LO2	Produce accessible multimedia content, including narrated presentations, instructional videos, and audio resources,that meets WCAG captioning, description, and contrast requirements.
LO3	Design inclusive interactive learning activities using H5P and Moodle tools, applying UDL principles of representation, action/expression, and engagement.
LO4	Evaluate a set of instructional materials against an inclusive design rubric and produce a revised, improved version with a written justification.
