I am called Jean Damascene Bigirimana, I am a Physical Therapist and worked in a Hospital for 5 years from 2010 to 2015. I have then switched to working for a regulatory Body called Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council where I served as an Administrative and Registration and resigned at the end of August 2018. I started working Full time in HealthEdu Ltd, a company that delivers the courses for continuous professionals development for Health Professionals in partnership with JICA.
I have participated in research activities where I presented a Poster on the advancement of E-learning for healthcare professionals in South Africa in a World Confederation for Physical Therapy in 2017. In 2018, in partnership with a Danish healthcare provider we have worked on a research paper that has been presented in Geneva in 2019 in a WCPT Conference.
Currently I am working with Rwanda Healthcare Federation as its permanent Secretary and involved in a research Project.
My expectation is to get insights and practical skills on making a good paper, publishing, commenting on a paper, know a bit about how to design and do a Policy Brief document and analysis of a policy.
