The spread of global covid-19 will cause a heavy burden of disease which will cost to much for all countries.To solve this health concern,health system will need to be strengthened,so that the principles of health economics will be applied as follows:
Production,resources,scarcity and opportunity cost: this principle will help to plan for sustainable financial resources,training of human resource for health,review of cost of health care services to make it affordable for every one as the pandemic will leave worldwide economic crisis.It will also help for the production of medical equipment,medicines,vaccine,as well as improvement of health infrastructures.
Market: This principle will help the health system to improve to the service delivery by providing services desired by their clients(buyers),capacity building as well as customer care enhancement.
Demand for health care,demand for health and need:health care system will insist on allocation of cost to health care based on service demand and to the opportunity to benefit from them.
Supply :to strengthen the health system there will be also a need to incease the inputs such as human resources for heath,infrastructure,buying new medical equipment,in order to meet the client needs at affordable cost and effective services.
Efficiency and equity: As the pandemic will affect economically all people,this principle will help the health system to strengthen equal health care provision to all clients, and sensitize people to use health insurances and avail health services for all.
Discounting: In the future,the health system will need to discount free some prices or free health care services to make them affordable for every in accordance to the consequences of covid-19.
Time horizon: For the strengthening of health system after covid-19 pandemic, the time bound seasons and changes will be taken into consideration,because there will be reduction of global production and increase of seasonal diseases.So that time factor should be take into consideration to strengthen health care system.
