PHY3244: Introduction to Environmental and Space Physics
Trimester 2

This course introduce students to the basic concepts of environmental and space physics. It is divided into tow parts. Part one provoide students with fundamentals of environmental physics with particular focus on current issues such as climate change and environmental pollution. Part one also describe fundamentals of Sun-Earth interaction (Space weather) and effect on human technology.  Part two of the course is an introduction to Astrophysics. Students are provided with basic knowledge of the structure, formation and evolution of stars in galaxies. A basic understanding of the solar system and the universe.
