  • WELCOME TO IMAGING TECHNOLOGY III Module

    This module is one of the Key modules in Imaging since it enables learners to understand technology behind fluoroscopy imaging, the use of digital imaging systems and basic quality assurance tests. It will also help the student to understand the functional principles of the Computed tomography , MRI, NM and radiotherapy.

    Aim of the module: This module aims to enable the learner acquire knowledge and skills in image intensified fluoroscopy; digital imaging and processing; and quality assurance in medical imaging department, while at the same time understand technology principles of CT, MRI, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy.

    learning outcomes: At the end of this module, student will be able to:

    1.Understand the operating principles of a fluoroscopy equipment
    2.perform basic quality assurance and radiographic images processing using digital systems
    3. Understand the operating principles of CT,MRI, NM and radiotherapy equipment.
