Field work in the selected  Health Centers of Kigali City ( 1 full day ).

LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR THE SESSION

This learning objective will be covered by reading the Notes  on page 6 – 43..

e-tivity 7 :The different groups  will conduct  the Monitoring of the Health Programmes in the selected Health Centers of Kigali City and  develop the field  report. This report will be assessed as “ Continuous Assessment Test : CAT “.

Summary of Learning e-tivities :

e-tivity 1: Through the active  discussion forum, you will demonstrate  the main idea retained from  the key concepts developed in Introduction.

e-tivity 2: You  will summarize and  highlight the components of a Health Programme,the difference between indicator and indice, and  the main indicators used in Health sector.

e-tivity 3:You  will summarize and highlight the difference between performance indicators and impact indicators, the performance indicators used in Monitoring of Health Programmes and the way those indicators  are calculated  and  their significance.

e-tivity 4: You  will summarize and highlight the way the Monitoring curve is built, it is analyzed, the micro-planning of the activities is conducted, and the budget of the readjusted Health Programme is developed.

e-tivity 5: : You  will summarize and  highlight the main approaches used  for evaluating  a Health Programme and the components of the evaluation report.

e-tivity 6:  You  will summarize and  highlight the way data collection is prepared before going to field.

e-tivity 7: Through different working groups, you will conduct Monitoring  of Health Programmes in the selected Health Centers of Kigali City and submit a field report that will be assessed as CAT.
