Clinical pathology is one of the two major divisions of pathology, the other being anatomical pathology.
In veterinary medicine, clinical pathology comprises:
− Haematology
− Clinical biochemistry (a.k.a. clinical chemistry)
− CytopathologyClinical biochemistry is taught to undergraduate veterinary students (Level 4).
Aims :
At the end of this course, students will:
- Be able to describe techniques for appropriate collection and preservation of blood samples for clinical biochemistry analysis
