    Welcome to MET9243: Inclusive e-teaching and Learning Instructional Design! Thank you for joining this module! Together, we'll explore how to design digital learning experiences that are accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every learner- regardless of ability, background, or learning style.

    Learning outcomes

    By the end of this module, you will be able to:

     

    1Explain the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), in the context of designing digital learning environments for diverse learners.

     

    2 Evaluate digital learning materials for accessibility barriers, using WCAG guidelines and inclusive design checklists.

     

    3 Design interactive and inclusive e-learning content, by applying multiple means of representation, engagement, and expression within a Moodle-based module.

     

    4 Reflect on the challenges and effectiveness of inclusive instructional strategies, based on personal design decisions and peer feedback from the module development process.
