Main parts of airports (Airfield/side and Landfield/side)-restricted and non-restricted area, Design principles and concept for the runway, taxiway and apron, an overview about airport lighting characterisation, standrds and norms of airport design.

module aims to provide knowledge, skills and competences in planning,
design, inspection and maintenance of highway bridges.
Topics like history of bridge construction,
types of bridges, construction materials and aesthetics are
also covered. Other topics related to transportation structures like elevated
rail transit system, grade separation, cable car, pedestrian crossing and sub-
ways are
also considered.
