This module contains two units: ENT and Comprehensive Oral Care. It is designed to help students develop the ability to comprehensively manage patients and understand various conditions that affect the eye, nose, and throat, which may be closely associated with conditions affecting oral health. The module consists of theoretical teaching, observation, and practical exposure to surgical procedures during clinical rotations in related disciplines that contribute to comprehensive care.
This module is offered alongside clinical placement. It is intended to enhance students’ ability to correlate and synthesize clinical information and knowledge into a logical and systematic diagnosis, treatment plan, comprehensive care, and evaluation of care outcomes within the healthcare system. It also provides students with an introduction and insight into the leadership and administrative aspects of the profession, including managerial skills, professionalism, ethics, and legal obligations, in preparation for their future roles in the workplace.
