This module is designed to provide the student with competencies of carrying out periodontal, restorative, oral surgery and preventive dentistry preclinical procedure. Students will also get acquainted with common surgical, clinical preventive dentistry, periodontal, clinical restorative instruments and equipment.
This module is designed to introduce the student to the common dental materials used in tooth restoration and rehabilitation of the oral cavity. Furthermore, it will aid in understanding of different dental materials and their appropriate use with advantages, disadvantages, risks and costs of each material.
The aim of this module is designed to introduce the student with detailed knowledge, skills and practices related to dental caries and the role of dietary habits and nutrition in causing dental caries. It is also designed to provide the student with competencies of carrying out simple restorative procedures for restorative management of commonly treated dental hard tissue using a variety of indicated restorative materials and getting up to date with common clinical dental instruments and equipment.
