At the end of this period, students would possess in depth knowledge of different aspects of Engineering Drawing, Rural Engineering themes like Topography and Rural Construction. They would acquire the knowledge and skill of Interpretation of Drawings and rural construction technology from project.
The Workshop Practice and Applications module provides students with fundamental practical and theoretical knowledge in workshop technologies and manufacturing processes. It covers carpentry, fitting, welding, drilling, lathe operations, metal forming, casting, sheet metal fabrication, and woodworking practices. The module also introduces essential concepts of farm electrification, including the use of electrical equipment in agricultural and domestic settings. Through hands-on activities and technical instruction, students develop skills required for safe and efficient engineering and agricultural workshop operations.
