Evidence Based Practice and Health Promotion in Oncology
Oncology: Track Specific Modules

This module is designed to further develop the students’ ability to research and apply evidence-based practice guidelines to their practice in oncology nursing across the lifespan.  Evidence-based practice (EBP and HP) results from the integration of available research, clinical expertise, and patient preferences to individualize care and promote effective care decision-making. Oncology nurses are perfectly positioned to be adopters and promoters of EBP and HP, resulting in practice change for improved quality and safety.
