Semester I

 Welcome to Design Theory. This course introduces you to the fundamentals of Art and Design, that is, elements and principles. You will understand and apply the elements and principles of art and design in all courses offered in the Department of Architecture and Design. You will also acquire the basic vocabularies (the technical language) of the subject. Generally Design Theory is the backbone of all courses and compulsory to all students of design regardless of prior knowledge and skills of the module contents. Have fun!
