This module introduces you to the electrochemistry. Electrochemistry is a branch of chemistry that study the conversion of chemical energy and electrical energy and vice versa. In addition, Electrochemistry has many applications in everyday life.

- Describe the basic components of electrochemical cells.
- Provide the features, uses and limitations of cells and batteries.
- Establish the difference between galvanic and electrolytic cells.
- Describe corrosion and methods applied to prevent the corrosion
- Explain electrolysis and identify its applications.
