Trimester 2
This is a course designed for third year students in crop Science Department of CAVM. This course will cover the skills concerning dissemination of techniques involved in producing high quality vegetables.
It involves skills of designing nursery beds, raising seedlings, hardening off and transplanting.
It also involves how the crops are cared for. By thinning, pruning, irrigation, fertilizer application,pest and disease control, weed control, then harvesting and marketing of products.
