Moduli hii itapitia pia tanzu mbalimbali za fasihi ya Kiswahili, mjadala kuhusu sifa za tanzu hizo. Itapitia pia fani na maudhui ya kazi ya fasihi na uchambuzi wa matini teule za fasihi.

Around the world there are many people doing science outreach activities but, in the end, measure the impact and the learning outcome results complicated. The present course includes a directory of suggestions about how to measure the impact of the outreach events for the targeted audience.  Based on daily life experiments, the learners will gain the sufficient skills and different hints in solving physics problems related to waves and optics.

LIT 1343 (Oral Literature) is a 10 - credits course taught ELE level one students. This course introduces you to nature and function of oral literature, its characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. You will explore methodological approaches to the compilation, study and evaluation of the various aspects, features of proverbs, riddles, tongue twisters, folk tales/narratives, oral poetry, songs, epics and cultural performances, which make Oral Literature a distinctive genre of literature.

The module is entitled GEO1344: Geography of Rwanda and Continents . It aims to give students knowledge on the seven continents of the world. You will explore the physical and human features of each continent. The physical features include the main morphological units, the climate, vegetation and drainage. For the human features, you will get the opportunity to acquire knowledge demography and urbanisation, various economic activities including agriculture, fishing, mining, energy, industry, trade, transport, communication and tourism. The aspect of regional integration will allow you to establish the benefits and challenges of the cooperation between the continents.

Course image CHE1344: Chemical Thermodynamics and Kinetics (DTP)

Dear Students, welcome to CHE1344! The module is made of two major parts such as Thermodynamics and Kinetics. As you would expect, this module of CHE1344 is now delivered online. We will use Moodle as our online learning platform. In this module, we will consider the main ideas of chemical thermodynamics and chemical kinetics. 

In the first week, we will focus on getting you ready for the learning journey. This includes getting to be familiar with online learning activities,  setting up your computer and becoming familiar with your online virtual learning environment and the study plan.  It is a good time to plan out your module. Planning ahead will help you to get through and ensure you are on track for meeting  deadlines. When you are involved in e-learning, it is easy to forget that you need to allocate time for study and then make sure it happens.

In first time, the module studies the nomenclature, the physical and chemical properties, and the preparation methods of saturated and unsaturated aliphatic and alicyclic hydrocarbons, of benzene hydrocarbons and the organic compounds with simple and multiple functions. After the module will deal with the generalities on the structure and the properties of the macromolecular compounds known as polymers.

They will also improve their understanding on plant anatomy as well as physiology. To achieve its learning outcomes and develop attributes of a University student, both hands on and minds on activities through critical thinking and problem solving strategies will be provided.

Further, field study will be done particularly on the part of plant diversity.
