Children’s basic needs, Identification of children’s rights: traditional, modern; Protection of children and their rights (entitlements); the rationale for child rights approaches;  children’s responsibilities within the family, community and school;  international conventions and national laws relating to children’s rights and welfare;  ways in which children’s rights are denied, abused or neglected within the family, school and other concerned social institutions; institutions and agencies for advocacy
